- last week i was able to talk to the mission therapist and then my sweet angel mom. So so grateful for those resources! This transfer has been pretty mentally hard since ive had some feelings of depression creep in but this week I've finally seen some growth in myself and I know I'll look back and be grateful for these trials.
- we went to a baptism of the elders and when the granpda baptized the girl his arm locked and he pretty much tackled her in the font and she cut her hand on the glass
our friend joaquin came tho and we put him on date the next day!! And he said he cant wait to tell his mom he's gonna be a mormon LOL!
our friend joaquin came tho and we put him on date the next day!! And he said he cant wait to tell his mom he's gonna be a mormon LOL! - whenever we're leaving the mixtecan families house and thank them the mom claudia says "no, tixa'vi Ndioxi, hermana" which means no, thank God, hermana. They thank God for everyything. For another day to live, for the air we breath, for the food we eat theyre amazing. One lesson we showed them the temple tour video that just got translated into mixteco by some elders in the mission and claudia Jr gave the cutest smile after and said she wants to get married there

-Sunday we had 8 friends come to church!
-That night we were finding and met this dude enrique who has dreams of jesus and then basically tells us some things he foresees for us. He said soon me and stubbs will be on different paths (heck yes) (transfers is next week so highly probable) and that I need to focus in my studies in school bc im a smart girl but sometimes i can be a lil "crazy" and he waved his arms around heheh (true). He said stubbs will marry someone with darker skin than hers, and she needs to be careful while she's driving (good thing my reckless booty isn't driving anymore). Then he grabbed our hands and put them on top of each other and said we need to be connected like that.
what
what -I watched this video this morning and I loved how it said "He lives. And because He lives- if you reach out, call out, or cry out, He is here." The phrase He lives is a big message in our church. I know its true but I've always wondered what it means... like yes he overcame death, rose on the 3rd day, and lived again! But then He went back up to heaven, so since He obvi isn't here walking on the Earth anymore, why is it so significant that "He lives"? But I finally was like ohhh it's bc He lives, He can be here with us. He can abide with us and be there immediately when we need Him
Watch it sometime today :) https://www. churchofjesuschrist.org/study/ video/easter-videos/2015-04- 1010-he-lives-celebrate- easter-because-jesus-christ- lives?lang=eng
