I miss Mr bean

Oh hey its me again, thats crazy amy you just wrote a letter 3 days ago, hah well idk our pdays are going crazy this transfer.

Black friday at the outlets- these california people are feral.

Saturday had exchanges with one of the top 3 hermanas, hermana bagley. Shes in our 4 man and oh i love her. First experience of being on bikes wow that was a mental challenge. I salute to all you missionaries who bike and walk miles every day.

We had a lesson with a dude after english class and bro had crazyy questions. He was asking for proof of Jesus Christ coming to the America's aside from the book of mormon and we were like uhhh so if you know of any lmk.

I rlly like this quote abt repentance:

"The Lord wants you to know He still loves you. Never abandon your relationship with Him because you feel unworthy. He will not reject you. More than anyone, He understands what you are going through and values your efforts to resist temptation, learn from errors, and repent."

We are so lucky to have such an understanding Savior.

Hugs and kisses,

Mmmm cats

 Hey folks happy Thanksgiving.

Enjoy a good supper tonight with your loved ones🀠

- since we're STLs we go on exchanges with all the sister/ hermana companionships in our area and like 89% of them are older than me hahah so I'm just tryna learn from them!
- the other hermanas we live with had a baptism and after we went to Toppers for pizza with all the "guys!" Kinda funny that ever sincs hermanas got here all the recent converts are guys in their 20 and 30s...

- Sunday went crazy. We went to our friends bday party and we PARTYED lol. Not really but they had Enrique Iglesia and Selena Quintanilla playing and we were all dancing haha. Keep the sabbath day holy everyone. Then after we went to a members house with our friend Perla and we sang hymns while Sister Needham played the organπŸ’€ such a change of pace

- I'm getting tired of tacos.

- I hit my 9 months this week. So I get to do this one more time for 9 months. A member gave us a $100 bill to get lunch so we got black bear diner with the hermanas and had so much fun laughin and telling stories

- I got my nick name from our ward mission leader- Lucerito! When I first heard it I thought it mean like little Lucifer lol but it means shooting star✨

- our friend Alejandro is officially on date for December 9th, please pray for him!! Hes gonna try really hard to stay clean from his word of wisdom problems.

**Having a thankful heart is so powerful. It reminds us that God is our Provider. It gets our eyes off of ourselves and what we lack, and back onto God and all the things we do have. Im so grateful for all the little things that make this life special, I will name a few here:
- fresh canyon air
- laughter
- food at the table
- the chance God has given me to be a missionary and learn and realize SO many amazing things abt this gospel
- trials and hard days
- friends who i can tell anything to
- my siblings and my special relationships with them
- Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for us.
- whipped cream
- cameras and that we can look back at pictures
- my parents and the rays of sunshine that they are

All these things are my testimony of God's love and kindness. πŸ€

Bikes and beef

 Hello!

- we had a huge activity for the spanish branches to celebrate Thanksgiving and we got to be in a skit hehe

- Sooo many new missionaries have been coming in, something like 2/3 of our mission will be newish by the end of the year! Wacko!

- We've been on the filming grind for Facebook Christmas ads wooowee

- So we're in a 4 man right, the other hermanas are on bikes and one of their tires popped like every day this week. Kindaaa caused some beef inbetween some of them so pray for us to get through this transfer hahah

- At interviews they had us stand up and say what we're grateful for, and at first it was yaknow the basics but then people started getting deep and it was so cool. Anyways so yes be thankful for family, friends, and football this year, but think a lil deeper. I'm grateful for my patriarchal blessing and the insight it brings me. I'm grateful for the chance I have to talk to my family every week (I know back in the day you folks didn't get to do that!) I'm grateful for the priesthood and that it was restored on the Earth again, it has brought me so much strength.

"God loves us exactly as we are and loves us too much to leave us this way" Unquote, Soren Kierkegaard
I'm grateful that God stretches us. Just like in that one nice cartoon church video, the bush tells the gardener- thank you for loving me enough to cut me down.

Love you allll, besitos y abrazitosπŸ˜½πŸ«‚

Zoo wee mama 🦧

Alright friends it's been a few weeks!

LAST 2 WEEKS IN SLO:
- sooo basically I bumped a car at cvs, so i left a note, then he texted us the next day (and he happened to speak spanish). He was like yeaaa you left a mark, what a shame. What church are you from? I was like shoot bro's gonna sue the church or something. So keep this in mind
- then the next day we get a refferal of someone who just moved here, we text them and give them the normal hey come to church with us, and he responds with "oh ya, you're the ones who hit me". THE NUMBER WAS THE SAME HAHA, the dude I hit the day before was our refferal. I was peeing my pants. I thought he was gonna come to church and show me i messed with the wrong guy, but we had a lesson with him later that week and he was actually very delightful! He didn't mention it, and when he drove away the mark on his car was gone sooo, we're chillin?
Bottom line- for all my missionaries out there if you get tired of street contacting and want to switch it up, just give some cars a little bumpπŸ˜„

- had my last day helping at Gabby's (πŸ‘©πŸΌ‍🦽) and she told us "if the raspberries go bad super fast again, i might as well just take my rig and go off the cliff". Laugh out loud, pray for her ig?

- our friend julio sat down with us and was like- when im at your church, members come up asking me things like where im from and how many kids i have, why are they picking on me!? And we were like bro that's normal, they're just tryna be nice! And he was like oh word?? I feel so much better now! Hah

-the most spirit filled district council ive ever had. Someone from the mission presidency came and i was giving a discussion😡‍πŸ’« I asked each person how knowing they are a child of God has affected their life, and wowww the room was filled with the Holy Ghost hearing everyone talk about how knowing their value and purpose has helped them in life. Remember everyone is a child of God today.

- last district activity we ate taco bell and played cards in the mothers room with the elders. Idk if they have some weird chemicals flowing around in the mothers room or something but it was like we were all on laughing gas

- JosΓ© and andrea came and said bye to us, you can tell who he likes more by who got the boquet of roses, chocolates, AND a love letter (h morgan)

PRESENT TIME
- I've been at the top zone of my mission for 7 months and I finally got shot down to the very bottom, Simi Valley! I'm here with Hermana Darrington who goes home next month, we're STLs (sister training leaders) and we're in a 4 man with another set of hermanas

- on the way down to Simi, we stopped at the mission office and MOMMA WHEATLEY CAME RUNNING AT ME AHHHWWW it was such a sweet reunion. I missed her sooo much. (My trainer)

-member meals go crazy here. In my whole mission up north id say we got fed 20 times and here in Simi we'll prolly reach 20 by next week.

Spiritual thoughtttt
Jesus Christ knew all mistakes we were gonna make, he suffered for every single one we ever have done or will do, in our entire life. That is why His Atonement is infinite, it was for all who ever lived, who now live and will ever live. It's literally unimaginableeee.

Hugs and kisses😘
