Thank gosh I'm a country boy!"🀠

Me and hermana Lamb have been cackling and wheezing all week! She's a goose and I've been feelin a lot happier in general this week so feeling blessed😌

We discovered a break in at our church woo! Was kinda fun hehe, we went to go into the computer room and the handle was broken, then we look at the next door and it's been hacked up by an ax lol. So we got the heebie jeebies and ran outta there! A few hours later there were 4 cop cars and cops going in with guns in case the person was still in there. He wasn't but what a fun night!

It was actually a blessing bc we had been in and out of the church all day. We left at 5:30 for dinner and everything was normal. When we came back at 7 it was all disheveled so we missed the window that the person came!

Saturday we had a branch service project at the presidents house and did some gardening on his ranch.πŸ‘©‍🌾🌿🍊 Then we handed out food at food share for a few hours and went home with 15 cartons of strawberries and 20 bags of celery lol! Hit me up if you want a celery strawberry smoothie yummm

Gave a talk at church about the atonement and later someone told me that that morning they had felt prompted to invite someone inactive to come to church and almost brushed the feeling away, but did and she came! Then while sitting there she had a feeling that my talk was exactly what that inactive member needed to hear. It's so cool how its a team effort and God works through multiple people to help His children. You never know the words you say might be exactly what a person needs to hear.

Live laugh love and lots of hugs

I'm killing off another compπŸ”« 😒

 - we went over and helped the inactive member we visited last week to start moving and I love her so much. Def a tender mercy we met her the week before I left, she told us so many beautiful stories and dreams she'd had that'd leave me in tears! She's so spiritual and cool.

‐ said a lot of goodbyes to all the members and friends in simi. I miss it already but am so grateful God gave me 6 months there😌 my last day was super good though we had a member meal with my fav family there and then one last KILLER lesson with alejandro and Jeni. Some of there family walked in 1/2 way through and sat down to listen and were super down with the resto and when we gave them a bom the mom was like I've been wanting to buy one of these! How much do you want? We were like just read it lady that's all!

- had transfers and im now in Santa Paula with Hermana Lambert! It's like 20 mins from Ventura and it's full of latinos. They all speak English but it's still sick. Hermana Lambert is hilarious and so easy going. Her, Hermana blake, and Hermana morgan all go home this transfer so yes I'm killing off another Hermana and will lose my last 3 companions that were left!

- the day after transfers we had a baptism in the area so that was fun to walk into haha.

Muchos kisses

Pelos de eloteπŸ‘±πŸΌ‍♀️ 🌽

 Hello fellas!

Had interviews with pres and he said my request to go home a transfer early for college got denied.. he's gonna check again but ig Gods will not mineπŸ˜…πŸ˜΅‍πŸ’« I asked how I can fully be converted to Christ before I go home and he told me I need to fully know Him. At times I think I do but with more sincere time in the scriptures and on my knees I think I'll be on my way.

We got a media referall and she ended up being a super inactive member who has lupus so she can't go to church. She was telling us how being inside all day she gets negative thoughts and then she started crying. It's tender moments like that were I love being a missionary so I can bare my testimony and mourn with those that mourn. Then she came to church Sunday!

Friday we went up to Camarillo for a devotional for the Hispanics! Elder Slaughter from the 70 came and our recent converts loved him and the deep dive he did on faith, and of course all the arroz con leche after πŸš

This week is transfers so yesterday at church I bore my testimony/ said a farewell and felt so much love for that branch. Def the best branch I've served in and have felt the spirit in all their homes. I've been here for 6 months so pres said I'm likely on my way out. I never thought I could become such good friends with people who only speak Spanish, before I thought there'd always be that language barrier but God has blessed me with some life long friends fosho.

Hugs and kisses and healthy wishes!

Cowboy takeeee me awayyy, closer to heaven above and closer to youπŸ€ πŸ„πŸ‘’(the chicks)

 - this week we had a joint comp study with all the sisters in the 3 nearby zones (our stewardship) and it was a blast! But also not allowed anymore which we learned after haha...

- mission temple tripp!! Finally after 7 long months without itπŸ₯Ή. It made me think of being a temple worker a year ago which I miss a lot. And wow covenants temples covenants and temples, that's what I for sure got out of conference!

- update on alejandros fam: we gave his mom Jeni a book of mormon. She was overJOYED. She had one, once upon a time, but gave it to her dad and has had to sneak alejandros to read it. So she was so happy to get her own again and is such a little angel. She and some others in their fam came and watched general conf and it was cool hearing their experience of feeling that kind of joy and peace for the first time. Pray for Jeni and the whole nava family porfa!

- Fernando and lupillos: 2 recent converts, made a lil picnic for us one of the sessions and brought flowers. A few nights later our district lesder brought us flowers and ice cream! We felt so spoiled. Definitely different from our last district leader who left a toilet in our apartment

- on Saturday we met Kevin whos super down for the gospel and works with a couple of our members! The first dude at the door was grumpy so we almost turned to walk away but I said ayo at least give us your number! Then kevy boy came to the door and now we got a lesson set up😎

- comp shout out I love hermana blake. She is so willing to work and improve and always makes sure I know im loved. ❤️

- in our joint comp study we read our patriarchal blessings specifically looking for when it mentions the temple or things connected to the temple. I invite you all to do that and see how you can make the temple a lil more of a focus in your life.

I love you
You love me
We're a happy family
With a great big hug
And a kiss from me to you
Won't you say you love me too?
