- lately me and hermana Blake have been going to the mothers room at the church for dinner hour and watching the chosen in the rocking chairs. I highlyyyy reccomend the Chosen it makes Jesus so real!! I feel like I'm gonna run into Him on the streets or something idk how to describe it.
- Little House on the Praire had a 50th anniversary festival in Simi bc it was FILMED HERE so for a service project our zone got to unload a bunch of stuff from it like the real set and the carriage they all rode on. Probably only me and my mom will think this is cool but ima keep it in here anyways
(Mom's note) - Little House on the Prairie was filmed in Simi Valley! I watched it every Monday evening with my mom and 3 sisters. We scheduled Family Home Evening around it, haha!
- talked abt baptism with alejandro and his whole fam this time! They didn't accept the invitation but said for sure they'll want to once they learn more. Their son also got out of jail which was a literal miracle!
- exchanges with sister Parr who's my Ohian soul mate. We went to dinner with the recent converts lupillo and fernando and were dying laughing the whole time haha. Then me and her danced in the rain at the church:,)
- happy easter!! Wow thinking back to last Easter I had just gotten to the mission and my understanding of the atonement was so little. Now I have such a deeper appreciation of it. Not only does it mean we'll live again, but that Christ felt the pain of ours personal sins and our personal struggles so He would know how to comfort us. And boy does He know how to comfort you when you reach out to Him.
It's taken effort to come to know Christ better but little by little baby and it's #worthit. Just remember when you drift off the path, He will be there with His arms outstretched, ready to give you a hug. I love our Savior Jesus Christ.
