we had transfers but I'm here to stay in Simi with hermana Bradford! She's my second comp I'll kill off here
-On Friday it was Kobes 4 years since his crash and believe it or not the crash sight was a mere 30 minutes from us here in simi valley. We made our zone leaders beleive that we got permission to leave the zone and go visit the statue jajah
- Sunday we had 8 friends come to church, and they all sat by different members. I just sat there during the sacrament and couldn't even focus I was just so filled with joy. Some of them being adrian the soccer boy, and his lil sis and mom!!
-Our last invitation for Adrian was to read some of the children's book of mormon and he recounted to us the whole first part of Nephis story! He's a smartie. We had a boy his age from the english ward come as fellowship who was wicked genius and starting talking about the difference between the letter of the law and the spirit of the law.. and that's when we had to cut him off haha
- remember Vianira that we taught when I was in training last June? It finally worked out for her to get baptized
that was the happiest news ever
that was the happiest news ever - me and hna bradford have become really good friends with our members Willi and Jorge. We go out to ice cream or have them in visits and we're best friends with them. They said they're already saving up to come visit us when we're home aw
Something I've realized is that a lot of time the things God asks from us isn't just for Him. We don't pay tithing because God needs our money, we pay it to take big steps of faith and show how converted we are to Him. With serving a mission God doesn't need us to convert His children, He could do that himself! Most importantly I'm becoming converted through the process. All the standards that may be silly isn't because God wants to control me, He wants to see if I'll do what He asks without knowing the reason behind it.
Think about something in your life that you're going through or that's asked of you. Maybe its not for the reasons you think, maybe it's because God is trying to shape you into the person he wants you to be.

Hugs and kisses
Love, hermana jerman
