- Our friend Hugo came to church and bore a beautiful testimony after driving 2 days straight for his work. My college self who couldnt get out of bed at 9am for church is crying of shame.
-We crashed a wedding reception that had the iconic madonna inn cake and we took home like 7 pounds of that stuff.
-Oh my heck we also went to an institue lunch after church with a member and our group leader (javier). We had gotten our food but javier hadn't so we started talking to him while big John puts his plate of food next to ours. So we sit down and start eating and javier sits down and starts eating johns plate. And big john does NOT mess with food. He was stunned when he saw this mexican dude going to town on his plate. Javier goes oh they not serve it to me here? Craziest 2nd hand embarrassment hahah
-Also like half our members or friends here are going through a divorce or fighting for the custody of their kids and its made me realize how important the law of chasity is to make sure you are committed to each other before you have kids.
Toilet tales

️- our toilet got clogged again, and we dont know what the dude used to unclog it but there was let's see how do i put this, "brown stuff" sprayed all over our walls and floor. Pic attached is us after cleaning it for a straight hour
-Night church testimony meeting was so special. It was just us, the elders, the bishop and his wife, and one member. Every single one of us went up and bore our witness of the Savior and the room was soo full of the spirit. Definitely a meeting I'll never forget. I bore my testimony of this story a lady told us about when she's driving and there's squirrels in the road she silently pleads for them to move and to be safe. That's how Heavenly Father is with us. He's given us all the commandments and principles to have happiness and safety but with our agency we sometimes don't make the best decisions. But He is always with us silently pleading and trying to guide us to be safe and do whats right.
-Continue praying for aurora and also for Gloria our sweet homeless member
