- LA mission temple day!

I love the house of the Lord. BUT WHY DOES THE TEMPLE PUT ME TO SLEEP SO EASY. I was only awake for about 1/2 the session

- hermana morgan found out I'm very ticklish. When im pinned to the ground at night fighting for my life it takes me back to my childhood when my sisters would do the same hehe

- had a lesson with our recent convert Julio, he's never really believed he'd go to heaven since he was on a different path a few years ago. But being able to tell him he will was so special. Those moments are what makes all of this worth it.

congrats to my parents kaleen and roger for getting called to the Oakland San Fran mission! Maybe I'll drive 3 ½ hours some night to get a hug and a kiss and come back but for real my parents are my role models. They are so full of joy and light

- we had 7 friends come to church! I mean we do have 2 different churches but it still felt really lucky to see our work pay off. Evening sacrament mtg is my fav bc its so chill and basically everyone bears their testimony

-we got a member refferal of a woman named Gabby who just moved to our area from wyoming. She recently became a paraplegic because she got shot in her spinal cord, but she has an amazing story. She's also German and has a bajillion expensive trinkets and knick knacks so moving her into a tiny beach house with the elders has been

Lately I've been trying to be more vulnerable in my prayers, David A bednar talks about that a lot in his two 2008 talks. I've learned how we can ask for increased faith and understanding beyond our own ability which comes from the power of the Savior. This week has had a lot of high ups and low downs, but the time on my knees and the times I reach out to my Savior is when I feel at peace- I know that Heavenly Father listens to me and that my Savior lives.
